Blood is the transport system for our body. It delivers nutrients to different organs and carries body wastes like urea (a component of urine) and carbon dioxide along the way. Urea goes to the kidneys and carbon dioxide to the lungs.

Smallest and simplest animals do not have blood. Corals and flatworms are example.

Our blood's color [color red] comes from a colored protein called "hemoglobin" which carries oxygen.

blood stops blood from coming out when we have wounds. and also, blood blocks germs from coming in. that happens when we have wounds.

Memorizing at its best!

It was a pleasant day indeed!. after waking up early before going to school, something tickled up my mind "so what is the formula for the slope again? " the formula for the test was suddenly forgotten at that time.

I am always thinking how our brain works, and luckily, (after a long research) I found the process information of our memory. here i quoted from a book:

"Within this approach, three types of memory have been distinguished: sensory, short term, and long term. Sensory memory stores all stimuli that register on the senses, holding literal copies for a brief moment ranging from a fraction of a second to three seconds.

(Short term memory) another temporary storage system that can hold seven or so items for about 20 seconds. Although STM fades quickly, Information can be held for a longer period of time through repetition and rehearsal.

Long term memory is somewhat permanent storage system that can hold vast quantities of information for many years. from birth to death, the average person stores 500 times more than the encyclopedia britannica."

Schooling in the long run

Have you ever felt like too tired of school not because of the hard subjects but the very long time before graduation? that's the case of our other friends out there. Maybe you should try these steps.

Socialize with others

Whew, being an irregular student isn't that easy. Try "to gain more friends" along the way. you'll never know when a helpful comrade comes around. boost your knowledge about other types of person so you will be prepared whomever person you may encounter after the 3-4 years.

Do something useful

The one who is in top of the class is similar to the one who "ALWAYS COPE UP WITH THE LESSONS". Give Mr. library that BIG KICK so a boost of confidence will obey you in times of recitations. This technique will also release time presence so time will wipe out gracefully. a typical Pilipino would say "Hindi mo namamalayan nakagraduate ka na pala"(you won't even notice you have finished your studies)

another way is by taking a part time/ summer job. In my case, writing is my part time job.

really "PART-TIME" because it requires me 30mins.- 1hr. a day.

"What you sow is what you reap" so if you persevere in school, (and in life!) SUCCESS IS CHEWABLE

My New Year's Resolution

Hello!! I'm really excited about this new year. I wish this list will be obeyed by me until the last day of 2010. here are my targets:

I will be a good boy (as always ^^)
I will follow my restrictions.
I'll sleep early!(so i can wake up early too.)
I'll try to buy an electronic gadget with my own money(preferably a cellphone)
I'll save more
Be optimistic and not giving up early
I won't be careless
I'll get high grades
I will do what is right and I will do it till the end.

Another year is about to come and for several reasons i might say that this year was good enough.

Ondoy's traces were still there: Muds everywhere, floods, and damaged houses. that storm was really huge. aside from those calamities, this year was also a loss for the families of celebrities and icons that did passed away.

We are lucky because we're here still alive and kickin'. negatives is part of life; everything has a reason. good or bad, rich or poor, whatever it is we must always be thankful for another year HE had given us. New year we must create our own life and as always- strive for the BEST!!

Earning Money Online

A: Of course yes, but

Q: HOW??

A: by means of P-T-C (pay to click) business - Are you familiar with the shows you watch in television (examples: Rosalinda, Family feud, Katorse, Wowowee etc.) at SOME point in these shows you will be seeing "COMMERCIALS". These mini flicks(advertisements) are aired once (or twice) because Big Companies sees YOU as their potential customer. and they pay in tv stations for the ads to be aired. Similarly, P-T-C is somewhat alike advertising. WATCH COMMERCIALS AND YOU WILL BE PAID.

Q: How long should i watch advertisements??

A: In each day you can watch one to four advertisements and each of them ranging from 30-40 seconds or less. meaning in each day, maximum of fifteen (15) minutes is consumed each day. you can even watch BEFORE playing your favorite game, after your work, or after studying.

and also, each "ad" will give you 1 dollar cent/ 50centavo Php

Q: So in a day, i may earn 4 dollar cents/ 2 Php right? that's too small, how can i earn more?

A: There are two ways to earn more. the first one is by RENTING other members - by this way the members you rent will click for YOU therefore, the adds they do watch will be considered as your salary. the second one is by recruiting, recruit somebody to be involve in the business under your name and part of their earnings will go to you.

Q: How much can I earn?

A: Let's say you have rented 100 referrals /members. Each of their ads will give you .005 USdollar/ 25 cents Php. So if everyday they are watching four ads, your earnings will be:

4clicks x 100 members = 400 clicks

400 clicks x .005 = 2 dollars a day
= 60 dollars a month
= 720 dollar4s a year
= 36,00 Php a year

Q: Do I have to PAY FIRST before i earn?
A: No, everything is FREE!! the only time you will pay is when receiving your payments.
payments will come from other country directly to your bank account that's why a little payment is needed. remember that YOU CAN EARN WITHOUT PAYING A SINGLE CENT.

managing a "REAL" restaurant is not easy. Tons of engaging responsibilities dresses up your way to the top. But why manage a restaurant early when you can practice first?. Here in restaurant city where customers are at huge, you can manage your own "virtual" restaurant without having bankrupted.

Let us set aside the facts that:

Foods to be served are infinite- as long as there are cooks and dishes were learned waiters will always be serving.
No need to be a good leader- you can always assign your workers to their proper places.
workers will work until they have no energy at all- they will obey you for better or worse!!!
There are no electric bills- even LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is free!!
transforming your resto will always be at clicks- this means you can buy furniture, cooking appliances, change your worker dress and even arrange the whole resto with just one click- whoa! can you do that in a real resto?!

Virtues needed for the game

Patience

it is a levelling game, the benefits you will gain when you level up are: bigger resto space, being able to serve two or more dishes kinds of dishes at your menu, you can unlock a plot(land where you can plant and harvest ingredients for a dish) and you can hire more workers when you level up.

budgeting

yes, all of us are poor but somehow proper budgeting will lead us to success. you must first invest on a low cost tables and chairs then as your money/level grows, then maybe you can afford higher-priced accessories. no need to be cool at first because know to yourself that you can buy it at a later time. items are multiplying that's why invest for the items that you liked most, not by the time you have bought an expensive item of which you don't like while the coolest items are soon to come out.

Personal computers: Laptop or Desktop?

Comparative analysis in what to choose from a laptop or a desktop. on a Budget of 300$.....

LAPTOP

advantages--

easy to carry anywhere.
can run through small battery.
good replacement for student notebook.
a combined tool because you can put every program you need in school(e.g. calculator, C++, microsoft word, excel, and every download-able stuff).
mini-dvd player. for boredom
music player

free internet (as long as a wi-fi signal is available).

disadvantages--

small storage space.
low graphics for certain applications
can't play my favorite computer games^^(hehe that's what im talkin about)
damage prone (physical damage or viruses), but almost dependent on the user.
hard to find components

DESKTOP

advantages-

easy to customize: parts are easy to buy and will fit for an average budget
therefore having all application can be operated by having customized components
suitable for my computer games^^(that's Good!!)
Big screen!! (for a 300$ budget)
professional looking when you are using
easy to upgrade

disadvantages--

can be used only when there's an electric outlet free to use
too heavy^_^
occupying a real huge space.

Basketball violence: Both sides must know

Large crowd waiting for some moves, a block o shoot will make the spirit groove. this is how basketball entertains people. screams and shouts are common in the game, it is normal that emotions [from fans and players] go back and forth which means suddenly, in an unpredicted manner, a fight occurs. Few days ago The PBA, (PHILIPPINE BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION) restricted a player for playing for at most a year. Wynne Arboleda (a point guard of a certain team) releases his emotions into a fan causing him to hit the man in face. If we'll strike back moments ago, wynne's team wasn't even gaining advantage against their opponent team. At the same, it was him [the fan mentioned] also been reported to be speaking "Bad words" against wynne. An addition from the event and the word being thrown at wynne might be the cause of the act. both parties have received consequences among the things they have done.

Blog plans, quite a thinking stuff

FACT: the name "coe16" was not the real name I did plan to give. coe really stands for COmputer Engineer. I believe that shorter names are easy to remember and convenient to type. and also, long names won't be enough to fill my resto for a facebook game(another fact! talk about it later).

so as the name implies, game of life(GOL) will feature portions of everyday life such as sports, news, computers, business, love, online games(may favorite!) and everything you like me to write about.
